Donation channels are being prepared
Legal status: Registration in progress. Please do not send money to anyone in the Foundation's name until official accounts are published on this page.
Be the first to know when channels open
Add your name to the interest list, and you will be among the first to hear when donation channels open, insha'Allah.
What is being put in place first
- The legal groundwork needed to receive donations
- Verified accounts in the Foundation's name (bank and mobile banking)
- A process to verify every gift and issue a receipt
- Fund controls: approvals, segregation of duties and audit
Planned separate funds
When donation channels open, different kinds of giving are planned to be kept in separate funds:
- General support for the FoundationNot active yet
- Hifz student sponsorshipNot active yet
- Quran educationNot active yet
- Quran teacher supportNot active yet
- Family empowermentNot active yet
- ZakatNot active yet
- SadaqahNot active yet
- Waqf (planned Waqf arrangement)Not active yet
Zakat, Sadaqah and Waqf would be held in segregated funds. Zakat will be accepted only on these conditions: the policy for receiving and spending Zakat is reviewed by qualified Islamic scholars; Zakat money is kept in a separate account; it is spent only on the categories of Zakat set out in the Quran; and before any of it is used for the Foundation's general operating costs, its permissibility under Shariah is verified. Zakat is not being accepted until these arrangements are in place.
How giving is planned to work once approved
- Official donation accounts will be published only on this page
- Each fund will state clearly how it is used
- A receipt for every gift and annual reporting
- No recurring (monthly) giving without clear, active consent
