Darul Quran Online Academy

A planned online academy for learning to read, recite, understand and retain the Quran step by step, with qualified teachers. No course is available and no enrolment is open yet.

Learner registration is not open yet. It will open only after the curriculum has been reviewed, teachers have been approved, and safeguarding and privacy arrangements are ready. There is no sign-up form at present.

What the academy is meant to be

The Darul Quran Online Academy is the Foundation's planned way for people to learn the Quran from home, at their own level and pace, with guidance from approved teachers.

  • Learning pathways from the very first letters to Tajweed, Quranic Arabic, Quran with meaning, Hifz and lifelong revision.
  • Self-paced lessons planned to be free for everyone, plus live classes with limited places, supervised by teachers.
  • A separate, privacy-first pathway for women, taught by female teachers.
  • Core education is intended to be offered without compulsory tuition fees, subject to approved funding and capacity.

Why learn the Quran?

People come to learning the Quran for many personal reasons. Here are a few that learners often share.

  • Reading with confidence

Many adults never had the chance to learn to read the Quran properly. It is never too late to begin again from the first letters.

  • Reciting with care

Learning correct pronunciation and the rules of recitation helps you recite carefully and with confidence.

  • Understanding what you read

Learning the language of the Quran and studying approved translations helps you connect with what you recite.

  • Learning as a family

Learning at home lets parents and children encourage one another and grow together.

These are general reasons written in our own words, not religious rulings. For religious guidance, please consult qualified scholars.

Learner registration

The academy is not taking registrations, applications or payments. Registration will open only when all of the following are in place:

  • The curriculum for each pathway has been reviewed by qualified scholars and teachers.
  • Teachers have been approved through the Foundation's teacher training and approval process.
  • Safeguarding arrangements, including arrangements for minors, are ready.
  • Privacy protections for learners' information and class recordings are ready.

When registration opens, it will be announced on these pages. Until then you can send a general question through the inquiry form. A question is not a registration.
