Learner registration is not open yet. It will open only after the curriculum has been reviewed, teachers have been approved, and safeguarding and privacy arrangements are ready. There is no sign-up form at present.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Darul Quran Online Academy open now?
No. No course is available and no enrolment is open. The academy is being planned, and every pathway is either Planned or a proposed pilot that has not started.
Can I register or sign up?
Not yet. There is no registration form. Registration will open only after curriculum review, teacher approval, and safeguarding and privacy readiness, and it will be announced on these pages.
Will it cost anything?
Core education is intended to be offered without compulsory tuition fees, subject to approved funding and capacity. Self-paced content is intended to be free, but live teacher-supervised classes have limited places, so unlimited free live teaching cannot be promised.
I cannot read the Arabic letters yet. Where would I start?
From the very beginning. A short placement assessment with a teacher would help you start in the right pathway, whether that is the first letters or something further on.
Who will teach?
Only teachers approved through the Foundation's teacher training and approval process. Recitation is assessed by teachers, not by software.
Will AI check my recitation?
No. AI recitation feedback is not offered. If such a tool is ever considered, it would be optional, not authoritative, and used only after validation and with your consent.
Can women learn from female teachers?
Yes, that is the plan. The women's pathway is designed with female teachers, women-only groups, flexible times and privacy by default. It is a proposed pilot and has not started.
Do I have to turn on my camera?
No. A camera is never required by default, and you can learn with audio only.
Will classes be recorded?
Only with consent. Any recording stays private and is never published.
Can children join?
Minors could join only when safeguarding arrangements, including a guardian's involvement, are in place. These arrangements will be explained before registration opens.
Will I receive a certificate?
Only a certificate of course completion or participation issued by the Foundation. Please see the certificates section on the How learning works page for what this does and does not mean.
Where will the Quran text, translations and recitations come from?
Only from verified, properly licensed sources, after scholarly review. Nothing of this kind has been published by the academy yet.
How will I know when the academy opens?
Any opening will be announced on these pages. Until then, you can send a general question through the inquiry form.
